We empower families and communities to achieve economic independence by supporting sustainable livelihoods. We promote agricultural & livestock development, micro-entrepreneurship and micro-enterprise promotion, and support for market linkages to help underprivileged communities to achieve financial independence.

  1. Sustainable Agriculture: Being working in agrarian region, ADHAR support small and marginal farmers to promote methods for productive, eco-friendly farming, including water conservation, soil management, natural farming and regenerative farming practices.
  2. Livestock Management: Livestock is another main source of livelihood in our operational villages, so we enable women farmers with necessary techniques to enhance livestock raising skills to improve animal health, production, and income generation.
  3. Entrepreneurship Development: Micro-enterprises are one of the main sources of livelihood for the landless families particularly women, ADHAR’s Livelihood programme focuses on micro-enterprises promotion by supporting rural entrepreneurs with vocational skill building on business planning, financial literacy, product development, quality management and linkages with credit institutions.
  4. Value Addition & Marketing: We support entrepreneurs enhancing their skill on processing and packaging, digital literacy, market linkages and gain effective marketing strategies to reach new customers.

  • Additional Considerations:
  1. Sustainability: Build partnerships and integrate the program with existing local initiatives to ensure long-term impact.
  2. Gender Equality: Ensure equal access to livelihood for women and adolescent girls.
  3. Social Inclusion: Cater to the needs of marginalized groups facing additional barriers.
